Provides funds to create, enhance, expand or support high-impact, proven-successful programs and services that enable the nation’s uniformed service members and veterans of all ranks, and their families, to maintain a quality of life reflective of their selfless service to America. Community collaborations most provide direct services in one or more of the following areas of critical need:

       (4). Health (Including Behavioral Health)
       (5). Family Strength

   b. $5,000 Awarded to Chapter in August, 2017.
   c. Must be used prior to April 30, 2018.
   d. Interim Report due December 15, 2017, Final Report due May 31, 2018.

   f. Our application said we would provide approximately $2,500 for food (building on Chaplain’s successful "Cans for Troops" campaigns) and cash grants of $200-$500 to each needy family for a total of the other $2,500.
   g. Committee is working with:
(1). Arizona Department of Veterans Services
